In Hawaii, you learn to live with the geckos.(Actually, this is an anole rather than a gecko, which is brown or tan.) They keep us company inside our house and outside. Many believe they are a sign of good luck. If that's the case, we have enough luck to last our lifetimes! This little guy was enjoying the sweet fragrance of the beautiful gardenia, one of our favorite flowers.
